Please note the rescheduled date for GIS Day: December 7th, 2018.
This weekend we monitored the situation in the East County of Ventura. In light of the major disruption, we have decided to postpone GIS Day until Friday, December 7th. While the original date may have still worked for most of us, we recognize that many of us are either directly impacted or supporting (both personally and professionally) others that are. Please change the date in your calendars and come join us on December 7th. If you have registered but won’t be able to attend, please let our registrar, Rabia Kabani, know via email@example.com.
We were able to retain almost all of our program and will still be featuring Clint Brown of ESRI as our keynote speaker. We may be able to add a couple presentations to our schedule. Also we can accommodate more vendors. If you know of any that may like to participate let us know.
Invite your colleagues, both those with GIS proficiency and those who may be interested, to join us. With the extra three weeks we would be happy to see the number of attendees grow.
Thanks again for your patience with the short notice of this change.
Please re-register for the new date. Apologies for the duplicate registration efforts.
– Steve Palladino (for Chuck Roberts, Rabia Kabani and the rest of those helping to put this event together.)
